Challenge: Generate awareness for Capitol Records bands targeting brand interactions with the hard to reach teen demographic.

Capitol’s target audience lives and breathes instant messaging. There is currently no effective way to deliver advertising through this medium. Foundry9 developed an interactive application to create a customizable buddy icon using materials previously unavailble to the fans. The application creates user engagement and brand interaction. The newly personalized vanity icon is displayed to other users during chat sessions.
